Here it is...my very first blog. My sister-n-law, Heather, has a blog and I thought it was a great way to share family life events with friends and family.
Tessa started preschool today so I decided that there was no time like the present to start. It has been a busy couple of weeks. Tessa's new preschool is very organized and therefore, has plenty of preparatory type events that led up to the big first day. Last week we had parent orientation, open house and then today Tessa went to school from 10:00am until 11:15am while I sat in the sanctuary (her preschool is in a church) and listened to new parent material.
Needless to say...she did excellent!!! I was very proud. When I arrived to pick her up the teachers said that she was adorable and did great! She was 1 of 3 that did not cry. She was in daycare for her first year of life so I figured that she would not have too much difficulty. During her first day, she played with the other children, had a pretzel snack and water and was given m&m's because she did such a good job helping to clean up the toys.
